HCP's HOT ROD POWER TOUR 62 CATALINA
This is the HCP HotRod Power Tour 1962 Catalina preparation project. As many of you know, I have a 1962 Catalina that was purchased by some of my UK friends so they can cruise in the 2008 HotRod Power Tour. The car is in excellent shape, and is pretty much, all original. It does need a little work to get it road ready for the tour, though. In this thread, I will show the progress of it's road ready preparation. Most of the fixes are minor, but some are going to be a pain, as parts are rare and expensive. NEW TOY: BORG WARNER S400 TURBO
I bought myself a x-mas present! Its a Borg Warner s400 turbo, with a 1.32 ar. This thing is suposed to be good to 1,000 hp. I am going to start the hot side mock-up this winter. I am shooting for 700 hp and having this thing done in about 2 years time. I will post pictures of my progress but this going to be a long term project. This turbo has a t6 flange and weighs about 45lbs!.... MORE...

OUTLAW'S STROKING THE 400 TO 496 ci
We decide it was time to build a street 91 oct stroker on an affordable budget as not everybody can afford the IA11 block so we are going to use a stock early 400 block and a Scat 4.500 forged crank. Popular Hot Rodding will be covering the whole build in the magazine too .... MORE...
