| is my car a y-82 i cant figure out axactly what it is i cant find it in the paperwork i have for the car and it has the gold rims and the gold hurst hatches but you can tell someone changed the the decals cuase the Trans am front bumber stick is under the headlight when it should br above it and the car is a 77 and the decal package on it came out in 78 1/2 | |||||||||||

| Yep, probably the only way you're gonna know for sure. Not all 77's had the y-81/82 on the cowl. The PHS documentation is always nice, whether it's an SE or not. Your cowl tag will give information that may help figure out a pretty good guess, but it won't be certain. Delux interior and black on black is a good indicator. Give us the data on the cowl tag, and we can help decipher a lot of that info.
