| Tail Light Lenses Does anybody know where I can get clear tail light lenses for a 70 firebird? I saw them on a bird once and thought they looked bitchin'

| Damn after looking on the net, does anyone know where I can get any type of tail light lens without paying an arm and a leg? PY has them on their catalog, but they are out of stock. I have to have them in order to pass inspection!!

| I will see if I can find the magazine article I saw the clear lenses in. I had never seen them before, so I thought it would be cool to be different.

| Thanks man, I think I have that issue of HPP here somewhere....I'll see if I can find it and scan in a pic. I don't remember if he made them or if there is a company that does.

| Its been awhile since I've messed with my 71 tail lights but from memory, they have a raised surface top and bottom with grooves down the middle and maybe around the edges to pilot into the chrome piece right? If you do any woodworking or have friends that do, I would think a thick piece of plexiglass or lexan could be routed with a wood router to produce those grooves making your own lenses. Make it sound easy don't I? Whip me up a set while your at it
