| I could be wrong but I believe the door will fit but the interior handle mounting will be different as well as how the door panel mounts. The exterior handle may be different too.

| I have 73 doors on my 77, and yes, the interior door handle mounting is different. I fixed that by doing a little cutting and welding. The exterior door handles are smaller on the 73, but will fit in the place of the 79 or vise-versa. Otherwise, there is no difference in the doors.
