2008 Pontiac National Champion

I know that it has been a few weeks since the 2008 Pontiac Nationals but Im finally here. Im this years 2008 Tin Indian and King of the hill Champion. We had an unreal time at the event this year. It started with a photo shoot with High Performance Magazine. I was lucky enough to take part in this years Pavement Pounder Shootout. It was just a truck load of fun and I met some really cool people to boot. I think I have to say that to bio picture will be the best since my twin 5 year old Grandsons got to be in the shot with me. The shoot was alright but I thought the track was alittle loose for me. Just not enough rubber down on the track. My best time of the day was a 12.108 @ 111.88 mph. That did change as the weekend moved along. I was running 11.90's most of the weekend after the rubber started being layed down. The weekend wouldnt be complete without saying hello to a dear friend Ms. MaryAnn. She finally got to meet me and my 1975 Trans Am. I know it's not as pretty as yours......lol I will race you anytime..... She also got to meet my family and I got to meet hers. It was so much fun being with everyone. Then Sunday.......So much happen that I wont bore you with it all. Just this......I won!!!! This is my second Pontiac Nationals win for me. The first in 2001 and now 2008. We worked so hard to win this one. My Crew Chief Baby Bee did such an awesome job it was unreal. She did everything we needed done and then some. Diane well what can I say about Diane. She captured the moment in time. She got all the video and pictures and what a job she did. The fresh water was always there and plenty of good food. She worked her butt off chasing me round after round. Thank You. Then my Pit Crew Samuel and Patrick. These two boys can get the job done and they are only 5 years old. Helping with the fuel, tire pressure, and getting me tools, they really worked hard. Thank You Bubbies you did Good!!! I really had fun with this Championship because I knew what to expect after I won. The first year was just a blur......This one I slowed down and enjoyed it alot. I would have to say the best part was turning around at the top end and doing something not alot of people can say they have done. I turned around and drove back down the track to the starting line. Wow was that cool!!!! The people at Norwalk are awesome and to all my friends who did stay late on Sunday to watch me Win Thank You to you too........."PhatDaddy" Mike Plymale 2008 Pontiac National Champion......Now that feels good!!!!!!!!!!!

A BIG HELL YEAH!!!!!! way to go Mike WOOOOOOOT...likewise it's always a pleasure meeting my Moms Friends, my Boyfriend and i absolutely adore the Boys i wouldn't mind having twin boys. Had a really good time, watching you race, and hanging out with you, Diane, Lyndsay, Pat and Sammy. Hope to see you all again sometime.
