1969 GTO Heater Control Lens with AC

Okay, I freaking hate it when a company advertises a part for your car and it is not the right one. Take my Heater Control Lens for my GTO, I got the new one from the Parts Place Inc. I have purchased parts from them in the past and this is the first time their description was false. Pluse it's SUNDAY and I can't talk to them until tomorrow, good thing I am a teacher and off for the holiday.

The top one is my original and the bottom the one that was supposed to be a new replacement.

I'm not trying to be a smartass...but the original looks to be in pretty decent shape.

It is, but I am too much of a perfectionist. In reality I have had my dash in and out about 3 times and tired of it. I have it out now and am refurbishing or replacing everything so I never have to take it out again.

Also, I figured out the issue. I purchased a replacement control module with a "good" lens in it about 8 years ago. At the time they were not reproducing the lens, now that they are I ordered one. Their great deal at $27, but the guy gave me a 70 not a 69. Luckily I still had my original module so I just put that back in. Will post pictures once the dash is finished. Waiting for some parts to dry and time to work on her.
