| Greetings from NL Hello all, Just want to say hello to you all. Found this great site and loved the fact that it is not all number matching what counts. (Though # matching is great too) My name is Sipke (35yr) and I am from the Netherlands (tiny country in Europe). I love muscle cars from all makes, but Pontiac is what I love the most. (Model design is just the best.) Currently started with my 69 GTO, which will be a little bit modified. Gray primer or satin black ext. color, custom striping, lowered, high ratio steering box, custom led ambient interior lightning, pwr windows and seats, frt airdam of 69 camaro, RR judge wing, 4-spd w. 3.08 gears, recaro seats, etc. Only I don't know yet what to do with the engine (1973 400 WK w. 4X heads from a 73 Grand Am manual car). At least it should be GTO worthy (350HP sae brake horsepower.) Hoping to find some insperation in regards of mods and engine data on this forum. Previous Pontiac rides: My first car ever at 16years of age - 76 Formula 400. 73 Transam 72 Formula 400 70 GTO w. flip front. 94 Grand Prix SE 69 Firebird 350HO 83 TA 4spd 84 TA 77 TA 4spd 79 TA w.Olds 455 79 TA tan exterior color. (loved that color somehow) 69 LeMans 2dr coupe 455cui. And my greatest love which I still regret to have sold, a 68 GTO number matching from Switzerland. This GTO is # matching and was originally equipped w. disc brakes, head rest, hide away, pwr window & seat, rr defoger, el.trunk release, posi, His&Hers, ralley IPC but no AC. (Fortunately it is still owned by a friend of mine.) Working at a company which officially exports GM products, I have access to GM EPC and service information. And maybe I could assist you in retrieving part #'s and or some technical data for late model years. Thanks for reading and hope to post real soon. | Sadly I have no detailed info about the factory in Antwerp and what they did build back then. The 69 Firebird 350 HO, 69 LeMans and 68 GTO were export build for Switzerland. They had an alluminium tag on the fender with some model info in German and all were fully equipped but no AC. (Typicall Europe spec.) If Antwerp build these kind of vehicles, then changes are high these vehicles were from Antwerp. Do you have or know a good source of info of the factory? | |||||||||||
