I put in some hours working on the car again today....pulled the front fenders off and cleaned them up.... cleaned up half of the cowl.... and the insides of the bumpers. Removed the brackets that were bolted in..... buffed up the rust... sprayed the inside with undercoating. They turned out pretty nice. [ok]

Sunday June 28th 2009....NewsFlash:

The car runs strong..... Yup you heard it here....got the car started yesterday... we had pushed it outside to give it the overdue pressure washer bath....started tinkering on the engine...touched the key and ...VROOM it started. Improvised a substitute gas tank and drove it back in the shop. Progress.

We did some welding on the car today..... finished some that wasn't done at the shop. I got the gas tank area undercoated.... and bolted the front bumper on the car...mostly to get it out of the way. Still haven't figured out how to put the trunk spring in. Jason took a stab at the puzzle today. No Luck!!
