| My Baby...1970 LeMans Sport I've owned this car since January 1976. It had 50 000 miles on it when I bought it. it was our daily driver until 1993. Nice car to drive...good handling..lots of power...good looks. It received a complete paint job around 1978... fixed up a rust issue in the rear wheel area. Changed the cam and lifters around 1979.... no other major issues... just lots of driving. Parked it in 1993.... it sat for about 10 years...rust was taking on a major presence...decided to save it...took it to my buddy's body shop in the Fall of 2005. Started removing parts...got her stripped down to bare bones....replaced a lot of sheet metal....rear quarters...rocker panels...inside and outside rear wheel tubs.... front floor pans ... patches on the lower front fenders... roof on the passenger side just above the windshield.... lower corners under the back seat. We used POR 15 on pretty much everything. Replaced the body mounts. I had to abandon the project for about three years.... family death issues. Last Saturday I brought her home from her outside storage and she is in my new shop....and I'm ready to start fixing her up. It needs a good cleaning first and foremost. Sitting outside for three years under the trees didn't do her much good.

| ...and here is proof why you should never leave your Snap on 1/4 drive set inside the car parked outside for three years with no glass in the car.

| Looks like ya got a little work ahead of ya Red. I'm sure you and the new shop are up to the task. Well, except for that 1/4 drive set. LOL

| I pressure washed some of the parts today ...and have concluded...I'm working with parts that need some more attention. The plastic interior parts are a bit faded but I think they can be salvaged.
