'71 vs '72 Firebird Grills?

Are '71 and '72 grills the same/ I have heard that they will bolt in just fine but the webbing is just a little different. I want to keep everything as original as possible and am seeing '70 grills but not any '71's.

70 and 71s are the same, using small squares for the grill material. 72 used a flattened hexagon shape, 73 used a rectangular pattern with larger openings than the 70-71 squares. . Hope this helps

72's are also known as honeycomb grilles, because of the patterns. I like the way those grilles look by the way.
