| OK So I used the POR 15 to treat some of the rust area around the windshield. I also used it to paint themetal dash area black to match the interior. It came out nice. Anyway, this 20 year old kid from safelite glass came to install. he said that my windshield area needed to be repaired befoer he could install. I explained to him and he was like "I dont know what Im doing." I said yes aparently so. we had words and he left with his wrong window. I called J and P auto glass and they installed the correct glass perfectly and without leak or anything. The POR 15 worked beautifully. | |||||||||||

| Old post I know, but I'm getting ready to repair small places in window channel on my 69 bird. Grind out old rust, and weld in new metal, where possible. Anyone ever use glass for small areas like in the corners? I'm not sure about getting it leveled up with my welding skillz. POR-15 treatment the best way? Then use the original sealant, or urethane as the glass shop recommends? Sure could use a picture of the back of this car with no glass in it, not sure mine is all there!
