| Rubber Bumpers Does anyone know of a way to repair the rubber bumpers that are on a T/A? My '77 rear bumper is in pretty bad shape. It is very soft and sags, has some deep scratches. I'm afraid it might be done for, but just thought I would check to see if anyone had any ideas.

| WELLLLL. My plan is to coat mine with fiberglass cloth, and resine. A single layer of cloth should do the trick too, but two may be better. This gets rid of that flexibility of the bumper, which is the main problem with it. This is a job that will take a lot of work though. A lot of fiberglass work, but worse yet, a lot of sanding and preperation. Laying your cloth, you'll need to be as close to perfect as you can be, to cut down on the prep work, but it's still a lot. That's pretty much all I can think of, rather than replacing the bumper with a new overpriced fiberglass one.

| Just checked with VFN, they have a fiberglass rear for $225. Also a fiberglass nose for $350. With the nose it also gets rid of all those heavy brackets underneath as well, so it would be considerably lighter.

| Those prices aren't too bad. You'll save weight, and get rid of that crappy stock bumper too. If I would have known about those, I probably would have went that route. Probably still will, before I do any repainting. I absoolutely hate those stock bumpers.
