    The TH-400 crossmembers for 2nd Gen birds are pretty hard to find. The misinformation of the web about what else will fit is certainly not hard to find. Especially for those of us with aftermarket parts on our transmissions, like an aluminum pan, and a urethane mount You cannot just flip the TH-350 cross member around and think it's going to work.     Pontiac Horsepower and Torque is pretty hard on transmissions. The more power you add to you engine, the more your transmission is gonna hate you. My 462 Pontiac Stroker has gotten to the point where I could no longer keep TH-350's working behind it. So the dreaded upgrade to the TH-400 was inevitable. I've never been a fan of the TH-400.     Spectra Premium EFI Ready Fuel Tank

    If switching your Pontiac engine to EFI, its best to have an in-tank fuel pump. You can get an aftermarket tank that doesn't fit, install an external pump that will probably have a short lifespan, or an in-tank pump that is inside a factory fuel tank that is a far better deal if available for you car. Well, F-Body guys need not worry, because RockAuto hooked me up with this badass fuel tank that it EFI ready. I also checked, and these tanks are available for 69-72 A-Body cars as well.
