    Removing the Heater Hose Nipple from a Pontiac Timing Cover

    I do not have a heater in my TA, and absolutely hate the look of a plugged heater hose. So I decided the take an extra timing cover, and solve this problem.
    I cut the nipple off, that used some cast aluminum filler rod, and a torch to weld the hole shut.
    Then I took a carbide bit and smoothed it all out. Followed by a sandpaper roll on my die grinder to finish it off.
    Easy job, and no high dollar special tools needed. You could probably Tig weld it also, but I was out
