  • Replacing dashboard in 71 FB

Installed replacement dash, but having some issues w/ dash lights, and factory radio. Been thinking that this may be the time to up grade to some LED`s & better radio. I would hate to butch up the new dash. Any thoughts anyone?

Cut it. I've cut perfect NOS dashes to install a modern radio. Put that two knob shit behind ya.

I did a modern radio in my 75 bird, mounted it in the console. That way you can leave the stock radio in its spot. Got the hook up from a member here, who sells the mounts.

You're better off cutting the dash. Unless you want 2 radios. LOL

Wow, wasn't really the response I expected, about cutting up the dash. But , I cant see having two radio. I do however like the console mount. Anyone know of a factory radio location block off plate?

I cut my dash up for a new radio long ago. U can buy an over priced knob radio that has a iPod port in the back

This isn't an Abrick, Tdawg. Your input isn't valid here.
