  • Ignition cylinder removal NO KEYS

Hello all, I have a 1972 Pontiac Lemans GTO that I had into the performance shop for some engine work and the keys are now missing. I spoke to a lock smith and he said I would have to remove the ignition cylinder and bring it to his shop and he could get a key made. Problem is I am having issues getting the ignition cylinder removed. Car is floor mounted shift and no tilt steering. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Look under Steering Column Lock removal in this section. I posted pictures but there not in order. Put you mouse pointer on the picture and it tells you what the picture is about.

Once you get it apart you can stick a big screwdriver in the ingnition hole and turn and start or unlock your steering wheel. You can insert the lock anytime and it will click into column.
